Start in Billings and go North along Route 87. That will take you to Roundup. If you take the turn to the East along Route 12, you will pass by the small burgs of Musselshell, Melstone, Sumatra, Ingomar and eventually Forsyth along the Yellowstone River. This route takes you near the old railroad right-of-way. Or you could start in Billings and make your way East along Route 94 to Glendive and North Dakota. Perhaps you would like to take Route 212 and go toward Broadus and South Dakota and eventually Mr. Rushmore. There's lots to see in Big Sky Country!
